Anabelle Plantilla is the Project Manager of the Biodiversity Finance Initiative or BIOFIN, a project of the United Nations Development Programme and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Ms. Plantilla is a licensed environmental planner with a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Philippines and a BS degree in Environmental Planning from Maryknoll College (now Miriam College). Her professional career spans several government positions, stints with the private sector and academe and a long affiliation with Haribon Foundation as former Chief Operating Officer. She believes that a life spent trying to make a difference is a life well spent.
