Bagobo-Tagabawa Linotlot Immersion and Philippine Eagle Daytour

Open up yourself to a unique cultural experience with a Bagobo-Tagabawa indigenous community for a day. The love of the Talabon Community of the Bagobo-Tagabawa indigenous community in sharing their culture is a gift to the world – a gift that you can firsthand experience.

They will share with you rituals, dances and songs that help them tell and conserve the story and unique traditions of their people. Your meal will be prepared the authentic way, using bamboo in a type of cooking unique to the indigenous called ‘Linotlot’. It is prepared with much love and with customary prayers; a delicacy prepared during festivals and important occasions, which you get to taste during this tour.

This experience gives you a glimpse of the native traditions hoped to be preserved in today’s shifting, modern environment. Every visit helps in the preservation!

After the cultural tour, you will proceed to the Philippine Eagle Foundation Center located in the foothills of Mt. Apo in Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City and situated within the Malagos Watershed. The Philippine Eagle Center primarily operates as a conservation breeding facility for the critically endangered Philippine Eagle and other birds of prey. This will allow participants to gain an understanding of the important work the Philippine Eagle Foundation does, to learn about and see firsthand our endemic and critically-endangered Philippine Eagle, a natural treasure.
